Peter Loveday


  • Founder and Dentist

    Dr Peter Loveday graduated from Liverpool University in the UK and moved to the Mackay region in 2008 in search of a more balanced lifestyle. Yes, he loves to get out on the water, and is not so keen on the rain in northern Britain...

    His international experience has given him a foundation and keen interest in orthodontics, craniofacial pain and TMJ (jaw joint) dysfunction, a broader practice than many, and is highly respected in the profession as well as among patients.

    If you ask him about it, he is a keen triathlon and cycling participant, and this has led him to develop knowledge in sports and endurance nutrition, including how to maximise performance with minimal damage to teeth.

    Aside from work and sports, Dr Peter loves spending time with his lovely wife Claire and two young boys.

We don’t always think about it this way, but the body is not a bundle of separate parts, it’s linked. In some cases, treatment for your teeth and jaw can straighten up your eyes, ears and neck!

Focus

Pin-pointing a problem can be tricky, it’s often a combination of things, and every person is unique. It doesn’t have to be complicated, but we start with the bigger picture, then we can get down to the detail.

We keep a close eye on emerging technology to bring our patients excellent service. We base our working ethic on finding solutions, and not getting caught up in layers of complexity. If we can use our agility to help you with yours, then we’re all winning.

Dental Assistants

  • Kaylene

    Kaylene has been a Dental Assistant from a young age. She continually impresses with her memory for names and focus on patient care. With her keen interest in dentistry and sharp wit she certainly keeps our dentists on their toes.

  • Logan

    Logan is new to Dentistry but has already shown dedication and enthusiasm. Always friendly and welcoming, she has been a great addition to the team.
